This group are former members of the 611th Transportation Co. (ADS) That served in Vinh Long Provence in South Vietnam
Direct Support Aviation Unit. Mission was direct support of aviation in the Mekong Delta. Slinging downed helicopters back to the Vinh Long airfield for maintance and repair
The mission of this organization is to promote communication and friendship among Vietnam veterans that were assigned to our unit during the Vietnam war. Our goal is to locate more former members of the 611th Trans Co. and make them more aware of our group. You can help by trying to locate and contact former members of our company.
