LOTS of guys know that the "joke" contains an element of truth! But, most guys don't relate to the stereotypes of the term "GAY" at all, because it has "UNmasculine" stigmas inferred by the mere use. However, studies show that a whopping +60% of men regularly experience same-gender attractions {SGA}! That's a MAJORITY; -and that fact is why so many men relate to the joke above (at least regarding lowered inhibitions that favor M2M affection). The gay-male community doesn't "get it", though; -made obvious by their attempt to introduce the disrespect of AnalSex and/ genderphuck into the mix (Luv'n a bro has NOTHING to do with either guy "playing a b1tch"!)! There is a men's movement for guys who are warm on their buds, and DON'T relate to "GAY":

G0YS generally don't promote intoxication. However, people make their own choices; -and the party-mentality is among them. Knowing this, plus the fact that +60% of guys would love to get close/cuddly to a favored buddy; -This group was made as a support area for guys who may be questioning their self-identity after having such an experience, and for those who want to make it happen again or more often!
There's nothing wrong with doing the naked nuzzle and going C2C (d1ckfight/FR0T) w. a Buddy! 
Hey: 3000+ years of history has made it clear that the best friends bond at the balls -making them closer than brothers. It's a guy-thing (not a gay thing).  Once you understand the difference called "g0y" (spelled with a zer0), you can take steps to help your buddy understand too!
By imbibing, he may even subconsciously want you to take the initiative!
