Re: [3rdPlanIt] Disappearing objects in 3D

I set the far distance for about 3 times the longest width of the
layout, plus some slop. That way I can put the camera twice as far
away from the near edge as the layout is wide and it fills the screen,
but minimizes the bleeding problem when objects are close together.

It's set to 1", and the camera is at least 10' from the disappearing objects. The longer setting is now 10,000". I notice the issue more when I'm rotating....

It looks like that fixed the problem. I was starting to think it was something with my computer since nobody responded with "hey, I have that problem, too." ...

I spoke too soon. I thought updating the driver had solved the problem, but it's back. Since no one else said "me too," it must be something quirky with my...

Troy, 3pi uses a software package called OpenGL and nVidia has historically supported OpenGL better than other video chip manufacturers. That does not help...

Thanks, I'll take a look around the web for OpenGL issues. My near and far settings are 2" and 10,000". I get trains floating in the air. Another quirk is...
