... Applications (Programs) should always be installed on an Internal HD. External hard drives are good for backups. If you run programs with their DATA files

Re: Disappearing objects in 3D
I set the far distance for about 3 times the longest width of the layout, plus some slop. That way I can put the camera twice as far away from the near edge
