If anyone knows/hears of anything, or has any additional questions, feel free to reach out to her directly.

Feel free to pass this along to anyone you know who may be interested.

Cheers.

Hi IO!

Only some of your probably know me. I just moved from Hawaii to the Bay Area
about two months ago. About that time, I was lucky enough to start coming to
IO with Joseph and Sharon. :-)

Right now I am looking for a place to live or roommates! I'm hoping to
either stay in the Peninsula or go to the city. If anyone knows an open
place or is also looking for roommates, please let me know! At this point,
I'm looking on my own--I'm finding the task quite daunting. Any suggestions
would be appreciated.

Appreciatively,
Noelle

Hi guys,

One of my friend's in Japan is going into surgery sometime during our afternoon for a form of colon cancer.  When they discovered it, it was around stage 2, and when they did the pre-surgery tests, it turned out that the cancer had spread to a number of different places and it's much more difficult for the doctor to figure out how/where to cut and remove the cancer cleanly.  The surgery is scheduled to last for 5 hours.

His name is Shohei.  Please pray for him and the surgery, and that God's hand would be on his body, healing him, and that God would be guiding the surgeon as he performs the surgery.

Thanks guys

Esther

cool, thanks for trying to gather people up alfred. hey guys this is just a perfect opportunity to help out and help deliver groceries to the homeless and less fortunate people of the tenderloin. a lot of them need God. by participating it'll mean a lot to pastor roger and maite. i'm serving in an unoffical committee group for SF Rescue mission, if any of you would like to serve on the team too let me know. they need help not only for thanksgiving. actually everyday!!! i proposed the pastors there for a movie night once a month on a monday night for the less fortunate would anybody be down to help me out? ie. security, setting up chairs, popcorn and drink team and stuff like that.

may God reach the people of SF through small ministries like this.

Hi All,

I know we have more then a month before Thanksgiving but i want to see if anyone is interesting in volunteering
to serve for the homeless.

There are two dates ..
Nov 17 and Nov and Nov 22nd..

Basically SF Rescue is a non profit organization that helps the Tenderloin district.

I will begin setting this up for all the people who are interested in this.
Donation are welcome but volunteers are just as good.

Here is the website for more info.

Thank You,
Alfred

Hey folks,

I'm still here in the beautiful northwest just enjoying the sites and just what washington has to offer. things are almost like san francisco, you still see homeless on the street and you still see people struggling to make ends meet and everything i see back at home. i went to church service up here and most of the city does not know Christ. Same is true with San Francisco.

In saying all that, I gave all of you a heads notice about the outreach community service with San Francisco Rescue Mission in the tenderloin area. There will be a time to reach out and help someone in need.

I just sent out a spreadsheet so you should have it by now.  We will be having a bbq at Bayside/Joinville Park in San Mateo.  BBQ starts at 4 pm instead of 12 pm.  I will be there earlier so I can get the grill started.  We all will be headed towards foster city right after to watch some fireworks around 8:30-9 pm.

Directions to the park:

From 101 Northbound:

1.  Take Kehoe Avenue Exit
2.  Go straight on Kehoe (3/4 mile)
3.  Parking lot is on the left (directly past the school)

From 101 Southbound:

1. Take 3rd Ave. exit -East
2. Take a right on Norfolk
3.  Go approx. 1 mile
4.  Take a left on Kehoe (go approx. 1/2 mile)
5.  Parking lot is on the left

Bring football, soccer or whatever because the park has tennis courts, soccer and baseball fields.  See y'all there.

Hey Henry,

Thanks for having this BBQ.  What would be a good time for people to start coming over for the BBQ?

It's not an attachment -- it's stored online at Google Docs & Spreadsheets. To open this document, just click the link above.

Since we can't provide food and drinks for everyone, it would be great
if people can help and bring some extra food, utensils, etc.

Hi guys,

For those of you who have been praying for my friend's mother who was battling lung cancer, just wanted to let you know that she went home with the Lord on Thursday. Thanks to all of you have diligently prayed for her. I appreciate you guys for taking the time to care for someone you didn't even know. The odd thing my friend didn't understand is why she had lung cancer when she doesn't smoke. Anyhow, for those of you who don't know about this, if you can just pray for their family for comfort that would be awesome. The wake will be today and the burial will be tomorrow. Please pray that those goes smoothly also. Thanks guys.

Michael

P.S. I haven't spoken to my friend since, might be taking it hard since it was Mother's Day yesterday. Cherish the times with your mom's and dad's as well as family and friends in general.

we were scurrrrrred after henry bowled that 255, but our man UNCLE RICO (al wong) stepped up with his 244!!! and everyone else in 3:18 bowled AWESOME GAMES.  but i guess it wasn't enough to counter your high scores.  perhaps we'll bring some ringers next time that'll "bring the heat"!  =)

we shall bring dessert to cheese soon.  do you guys like doodoopie?  i think tim knows how to make it.

Classic Bowl Daly City, CA. --
Cheese proves it's  Tenacious Bowling Skills  vs 3:18!

Henry of Cheese rolled 7 straight strikes in the competition for a 255 Tue and won the U.S. Bowling Congress GRX Masters tournament for the Cheese Team.  Henry commented on 3:18 by saying, "they brought the competitive nature, esp Al Wong, so I brought the heat to them."

Janet Tsui was the highest-finishing woman, taking the 2nd spot for Cheese.

Alton Szeto commented, "It was a tough loss on Sun to 3:18 in the final Olympics challenge (hot dog eating contest.)  I went away that day devastated as well our stomachs.  So I reissued the challenge to 3:18 as I walked of the field and said it's not over!  Hinting to the bowling challenge."

So Cheese finally rectified that shortcoming Tuesday night, after defeats to Fila (bowling) and 3:18 (Olympics), and along the way inflicted what just might rank as the lowest moment of 3:18's bowling life.

The outcome was essentially decided by halftime, at which point 3:18 had few pins that weren't stacking up to a high team avg. When 3:18's team-high point total is that low, it's inevitably going to lead to more questions about the talent and consistency deficit they are facing and less about their single strike shot attempts.

Finishing up on the final frame Rich of Cheese knew it was a win by knock out so he threw the ball between his legs down the lane and strike!

Cheese took home $100,000 in prize money which has yet to be compensated by 3:18.
