Hello, I have moved to Idaho after a very long serious cancer recovery. I have
finally got my ICOM 706 up and running on HF. I will get VHF running later.

I have NO, repeat, NO as in NADA experience using PS31 and am interested in
getting it to work here. I have been listening on all bands and have had ZERO
activity including 30M. Some very small CW @ 10.150 but too weak to copy Q2. The
bands are totally dead here.

Would you post a request to help me connect my ICOM 706 to my Windows XP ACER
computer? I have all the info on my 706 and the ACER has all kinds of audio
inputs and out puts and I want some one that knows the ICOM and which input to
use. Have solder iron, lots of acid flux and tons of connectors.

I tried the audio out on the 706 to the audio in on the acer but all I get is
garbage in the message screen. I have not tried to connect TX as I have lots of
options on the 706.

Where do I go on this site to read any response?

I have very slow internet (60mk at best) but it works fine for reliable
communications. The VOIP is some times broken but it's 90% copy.

I do have EchLink and CQ100 but that is nothing but a chat room. Sorry I don't
buy it. However if some one wants to get me I'll be glad to schQSO.

This is new to me the last venture I had was PACTOR and that was a real
headache.
