Description

Members of this group are interested in the history of the 24th Michigan, an american civil war regiment and member of the Iron Brigade. This group is an offshoot of the 24th Michigan Regimental Website at www.geocities.com/24th_michigan. Group membership is open to everyone. Reenactors are encourged to participate, although the focus of this group is the historical 24th, not reenactment units.

As I recall his name is Eugene Buck.  He lives in Virginia near Washington, D.C. and has a hobby of going the National Archives to search for records.  I
