On July 10, 2000, the General Convention of the Episcopal Church in the U.S. adopted Resolution A033, titled 20/20: A Clear Vision.

Building upon the 2001 work of the 20/20 Task Force and the 2002 meeting of the 20/20 Program Teams, we invite all interested in contributing to help brainstorm specific implementable proposals. All list members agree to the following "ground rules":

1. This is a brainstorming list. In a brainstorming session, people contribute ideas, but do not provide feedback on ideas contributed by others. Please post only specific proposals -- especially from members of or concerning outreach to include and empower communities historically disempowered in the Episcopal Church -- which could be implemented to support one or more areas of the 20/20 Vision.

2. Please indicate in the subject line of your posts which of the following Program Teams you think your idea would be most closely related to:
-- General Convention 2003
-- Spirituality, Prayer, and Worship
-- Research
-- New Congregations
-- Revitalizing Existing Congregations
-- Leaders
-- Funding
-- Communication
-- Next Generations

The members of each Program Team will consider all ideas submitted in their subject area, and select the most suitable ones for inclusion in legislation to be proposed to the 2003 General Convention.

3. Please identify yourself with each posting by full name, parish/mission affiliation, and location.
