Since the SVMB TNT Chapter is not having a "spring" cycle team this season, a bunch of alumni are forming a group to train for and ride in the 2013 Solvang Century. This is not a formal group, so:

· You need to be self-sufficient. Bring all the food, goo, sports drink, etc. that you will need for each ride.
· All rides are unsupported (no rest stops, no SAG) unless the ride organizer decides otherwise and makes arrangements personally.
· Ride descriptions will include locations for water and restrooms.
· Bring bicycle repair supplies you might need (pump, tubes, tire levers, patch kit, etc.)
· No one rides alone. We are riding together to have more fun and for safety.
· There is no formal determination of who rides together. You should ride with others of similar speeds and skills. You are encouraged to ride with your group at Solvang.
· No formal coaching is planned.
· You should register for the event on you own.
· You should make your own lodging arrangements for the event.

I'm sure there are other restrictions, too. Basically, you agree to do this on your own. Members of the group only agree to provide companionship and motivation to get out and ride through the winter :-)
