We,the members of First Logistics of America,Sammy L. Davis Chapter, Kokomo,Indiana, are looking for other Vietnam Veterans that were assigned or attached to first logistical command units,but might have worked, or been TDY to other units.Our chapter has been organized since Sept 2000, with 34 charter members.We have been growing each year, with our Sept reunion taking place at the Kokomo Reunion, the third weekend in September. Were anxiously looking for new Vietnam veteran members.We have a CMH, Sammy L. Davis, as a member, also a Vietnam woman, who actually worked with one of our vets, in his unit as a secretary. If you, are a "logger", or you know someone that was, we're interested in getting with you, ASAP.We are also looking for present and past persons that are or were currently in the National Guard, or Army Reserves or on Active Duty, that are wearing or have worn the First Log Patch. Please let us know,as we are very interested in building a Charter Organization. Also if you know of anyone that might be A Congressperson, or State Representative, we could also use your help and expertise getting a chartered organization started. I know we are a late starter, but the interest is still of most importance,as we are loosing veterans day by day to various illnesses.
