This group is for those of us that either are currently, have, or will be homeschooling for first grade. This group is run by 3 different Christian moderators although we are not an exclusive group we do ask that you take this into consideration before joining. This group is meant to be a support group for 1st grade home schooling parents to share ideas, sites, stresses, joys, and make friends.
We only have a few rules…
This group is NOT for:
1. debating hot homeschool topics
2. promoting your home business
3. asking for money
4. Religious or political debate or inflammatory remarks or extremely personal info (such as addresses, phone numbers, etc.)
5. spamming or slamming is not allowed
6. Grouply members will not be approved
This group IS for:
1. sharing sites you use either free or not
2. sharing blogs and other homeschool related sites
3. sharing your joys and stresses of everyday homeschool life
4. seeking and finding help for information, curriculum, planning, etc
5. chatting with other moms/dads about homeschooling
6. you may post prayer request or praise reports
We are a very diverse group and although most of us are Christians we are not an exclusive group. Everyone is welcome so please think about the Golden Rule BEFORE you hit the send button: Treat others as you’d like to be treated.
Please trim your post, which means:
1. Delete all parts of the original post that is not necessary for other readers to understand what is going on.
2. Make sure the original post is marked so that a reader knows what is original and what your new comments are
3. Please delete all the Yahoo extras in the posts.
Most off topic posts will be allowed as long as it doesn’t get out of hand and is properly marked OT in the subject line. This group has some great info and discussion so please feel free to use your delete key for those topics that don’t interest you and reply to those that do.
