Description

A virtual gathering place for those who work as interpreters at historic sites, where questions can be asked and concerns addressed. Interpreting is a unique blend of public relations, education and entertainment with a bit of everything but the kitchen sink thrown in! This group is for those who would like to complain about wearing a corset every day(or laud the practice with praises), ask questions about how you deal with visitors to your site who want to touch everything, and just generally share what it means to interpret history on a daily basis. It is not for reenactors as there are already many great lists aimed at that wonderful group of people who 'aid and abet' those of us who work at historic sites. So if you are an interpreter that wants to talk, to complain or just tell the rest of us about your great site - join up!
