This group is for anyone interested in modelling American railroads of the 1970's and 1980's.

American Railroading, particularly in the 1970's, was a period of change for American Railroads. There were mergers, bankrupcies, new color schemes, and new freight challenges, as well as service cutbacks, and even the introduction of new railroad entities such as Amtrak and Conrail.

If you are interested in, or do model, the 1970's / 1980's era of American railroading, join this group and

• ask your questions,
• answer other peoples questions via posts or the databases,
• communicate with people who are interested in the same era.
• post your photos of 1970's/1980's era railroads, or model railroads.
• inform the group members of operating sessions on your 1970's/1980's era layout by posting Op-Session details to the group
