Forum for the 166th AAA GUN BATTALION in WWII. A few guys who got together and helped save Democracy. These guys were "the best damn 90mm AAA outfit in the Pacific!" They shot down at least 36 Japanese Aircraft.

The 166th was awarded both a Presidential Unit Citation and a Philippine Presidential Unit Citation for it's distingushed service in the Philippines.
The US Presidential Unit Citation is the highest award given by the US Army for unit service.
