The 14 Secrets for a Happy Artist's Life is all about art making, art exchange, and making ourselves happy with art. 
We are a group of artists that share, swap, exchange and inspire all things artistic from artist's trading cards to fat books and puppets, mostly through our postal services.
(The following is paraphrased from a happy member)
"This is a special group, with caring members who support and encourage each other in many ways! We provide each other with a wealth of resources, experiences and knowledge from the arts, healing, and life through our virtual environment. We are all willing to grow in artistic exploration and knowledge. We are SO about caring, supporting, and encouraging each other...As artists we realize that this gift is meant to be shared... We are so appreciative of each others' expressions in art and writing as it is a validation of our truth and it is what we as a group are all about. We can be strong and tall branches for each other within this 14 Secrets tree of love."

We keep our group and message board free of advertisements and commercials (except for FleaMarket Friday), proselytizing, politics, specialized automated mail (spam), and unsolicited bulk mailing. In other words we like personal, friendly communication, that like our art is radically individualistic and not mass produced.  Does that sound like your cup of tea?

If it does, and you'd like to join the party, you will need be referred by an active group member, or tell us who from this group or a similar group can put in a good word for you. In addition the moderators will ask you to agree to the no "advertisements, commercials, proselytizing, politics, specialized automated mail (spam), and unsolicited bulk mailing" rule. They will also ask for your full name, a working email, a full address & phone #, and what sort of art making creates the most happiness for you.
