Description

This group is dedicated to the discussion of 13th century European clothing and related subjects. Clothing between 1200 and 1300 was generally characterized by loose-fitting garments with tight sleeves. The Maciejowski Bible is pictured in many books on the Middle Ages and demostrates the basic style that dominated the century.

Hello Christine -- paintings and illuminations are your friends. Look at the period work first and then you'll be able to judge what modern people are telling
