DF1) is an SNP subclade of the larger L21+ DF13+ clade. Z249 appears equivalent to L513. L513 people are scattered across the British Isles, Scandinavia, Benelux, France and even Germany. Many of the subgroups have Most Recent Common Ancestors that go back to 800-1200 AD.
