The object of the hunts is to have fun. While you're having fun you may also want to find one or more “treasures” that are periodically hidden somewhere on public property or on private property which allows public access. The treasures are not buried and it is not necessary to destroy property or disturb or climb any structures to find them. Please adhere to all posted rules, regulations and prevailing laws. Please use common sense, be safe and pay attention to your surroundings while searching for the treasures. Please be gentle with plants, respect the environment and leave search areas in as good or better condition than you find them.

By their participation, treasure hunters agree that they are assuming all risk of injury to themselves or others while participating in the hunts. Treasure hunt participants further agree to hold harmless, defend, indemnify, and hereby release the moderator and each other from all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries to themselves or others, damages or losses to any persons and/or property which may be sustained while participating in any hunt-related activity.

These treasure hunts are not open to the general public but we welcome fellow treasure hunt addicts. The moderator, at it's sole discretion, reserves the right to ban a member from the Yahoo Group for conduct unbecoming a treasure hunter.
