The aim of this Yahoo Group (009-Group) is to provide a forum to discuss the modelling of narrow gauge railways (those less than 4 feet 8 1/5 inches or 1435 mm) in the scales promoted by the 009 Society (mainly 1:76 and 1:87), and to include discussion of the prototypes for such model railways.

Whilst this group is in no way supported nor is it a part of the 009 Society, membership of this group is conditional on current membership of the 009 Society.

Therefore, if you wish to join this list, please provide the following information to the moderator in the box labelled "Comment to Owner":

1) Your FULL name, as this is often not clear from an e-mail address or Yahoo identity.

2) Your 009 Society membership number, or your full address if you are not sure of the number.
